A little More About Me

This wasn’t today’s planned post, or even a post I had planned for the month, but it’s been a busy week, so I’m going to find some questions to answer about myself. It’s a get to know me post. I’m answering seven questions. It’s a random amount, and I’m okay with that. I just found a variety of questions to ask myself. Not one from the same spot.

If you could live in any sitcom, which one would it be?

Honestly, I think Friends. Not just because I love the show, but mostly because they just hang around and drink coffee all day. They go to work, but never seem to be there. They also always have one another’s backs. My other choice would be Cheers. They hang out in a bar all day, and laugh. Cheers would be a kid free place, but I would take Anthony with to my Friends life.

When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?

I read somewhere that I said I wanted to be an astronaut. I don’t actually remember that though. I wanted to be an artist or a famous actor. Artist didn’t work out because unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of artistic talent. It’s hard to be a famous actor when you grow up in a small town in Saskatchewan. It turns out I’m okay with not being a famous actor.

Are you living a meaningful life?

I think everybody is living a meaningful life whether they believe it or not. However, I do think I’m trying harder to have a life with more meaning.

Would you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert?

Introvert all the way. I can fake it though.

Do you see yourself as an optimist, pessimist, or realist?

Realist I guess. I’m a realist who likes to dream, and also gets pessimistic at times because the reality is life isn’t always perfect.

How would you spend your 100th birthday?

With wine. If I make it to my 100th birthday party, it will be full of laughter. Maybe I’ll jump out of an airplane.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

People who aren’t nice. Mean people. I just wish they knew that life is easier when you’re nice. It’s easier to be nice than mean.

I’ll be back tomorrow!
